Q: Where can I find recommended control  throws for Skyshark warbirds.
A: Control throws are listed in the back of each instruction manual.  Download the latest manual online for the most current information.

Q: Why don’t you include printed manuals with your kits?
A: In order to keep our kits as affordable as possible, we decided to no longer include printed manuals. Online manuals allow us to make changes and updates on the fly and also allow the builder access to high resolution photos that can be enlarged to show detail.

Q: I have never built an airplane kit  before, will I be able to build a Skyshark kit?
A: You will probably have a difficult time building our warbird kits if  you have never built a kit before. While our instruction manuals are photo illustrated, they don't cover simple steps in detail like servo installation, control surface connections, sheeting and covering. Your best bet is to start with a trainer and then build a Skyshark kit.

Q: How long does it take to build a Skyshark warbird kit?
A: If you are a moderate to good builder, it will take approx. 40-60  hours from start to finish. Of course, adding scale accessories and  finishes will take longer.

Q: Are decals included with Skyshark kits?
A: In order to save costs (and because our graphic equipment is  outdated!), we no longer include decals with our kits -  no matter what the instruction manual says! There are many places online that specialize in vinyl graphic for R/C airplanes, all you need to do  is type "RC airplane graphics" in one of the major search engines.

Q: What size servos do I need for my Skyshark kit?
A: Our kits were originally designed to use standard size servos,  however, with the introduction of smaller servos, you can use any size  you want as long as you have at least 40 oz. of torque. We carry a full  line of Hitec servos at great prices; just give us a call!

Q: Can I power my Skyshark Warbird with electric power?
A: Yes, if you are new to electric power just contact us and we can suggest the correct Skyshark tested setup for your kit and explain to  you how to connect and use it.

Q: I like to buy all my electric components direct from China, can you tell me what to purchase?
A: We only recommend power systems that we personally test. If you have a preferred vendor, we suggest you give them a call and have them suggest the correct setup for your airplane.

Q: Can you supply me with everything I need to build and fly my kit?
A: Yes, in addition to our kit manufacturing business, we also operate a fully stocked hobby shop with products from all the major manufacturers.  Just contact us via phone or email and we can set you up with everything you need.

Q: How can I get technical support for my Skyshark product?
A: The best and fastest way is to contact us via email cservice@skysharkrc.com, that way, you can attach photos to your question if needed. You can expect a reply on most questions within a  few minutes if your question was received during normal business hours. You can also call or text our technical support line at 239-800-1945

Q: Do you ship kits outside the continental USA?
A: Yes, we ship to any country that will accept the package. All you  need to do in order to find shipping cost is add your item to your  shopping cart, go to checkout, and type in your address after selecting  your preferred shipping method. If you have any questions, you can also  contact us directly.

Q: Why don't you have a toll free phone number?
A: Because we are too cheap!

Q: Can you order me other Seagull ARFs that you don’t currently stock:
A: Yes, however, delivery time could take up to 3 months.

Q: Can you laser cut parts from a printed plan?
A: Yes we can, however we would need to digitally trace the plan and redraw each part in CAD to insure the correct dimensions. I would be faster and less expensive to design the plane in CAD from scratch. We cut custom parts all the time but usually from CAD files.
